Celebrate the music of Bob Dylan with Art Tebbetts and Matt Borrello!
This insanely talented duo share a passion for Dylan and his style – ranging from Dylan’s original songs, inspirations from the Great American Songbook, and even his surprising choice in covers. This show is a real-deal experience!

About the Artists

Art Tebbetts, aka “New Bedford’s Troubadour”, is well known in the South Coast region for his personable wit, presentation, and unmatchable talent. He has not only been a repeated performer but was also the main host of the New Bedford Folk Festival for 25 years and loved every second of it – it was an unforgettable experience for him to have met and played with countless musicians he so dearly respected. Art is also notorious for hosting the open mics at Café Arpeggio in Downtown New Bedford for over 10 years. Currently, Art enjoys bringing the joy of music and his wonderful spirit to local nursing homes.

Matt Borrello is a New England singer-songwriter and guitarist with an extensive repertoire of folk, country, blues, and rock music. Matt began writing songs as a teenager in the small town of Dighton, MA, and soon started playing at local open mics and blues jams. He has now performed up and down the East Coast, with occasional travels to LA, Nashville, and the UK. Currently a fixture in the Boston scene, Borrello’s shows range from a quiet coffeehouse solo act to a full-tilt rock and roll band. Matt released his first album “Don’t Turn Around” in 2010, his second “A Dollar & A Kiss” in 2015, and his third “Lonesome Valley” in 2022.

The Duo’s Story

Art and Matt originally met through an afterschool “Spotlight Program” at UMass Dartmouth where Art taught “Performing 101”. Art told me, “I remember this kid was dressed in denim head-to-toe and just loved Bob Dylan”. Despite their age difference, the two had so much in common in regards to their abilities and musical tastes. Eventually, they were performing as two separate Bob Dylan-inspired acts at Rick’s Music World in Raynham, but when they finally decided to come together as a duo; that’s when the real magic happened. After performing some shows together, they landed a gig at the Cotuit Center for the Arts. Bringing in sold-out shows for two years, their act had to be moved to an even higher occupancy space! Along the way, they acquired more talented musicians to share the stage with and they have been selling out this annual show for 11 years!
